Week 41

I got to call my Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love them all so much~ And I miss their warmth! One of the things I tell people while I am proselyting (I like it so much better in Korean because it is simply 전도, juhn-doe) on the streets.

Them "Where are you from?"
Me "America"
Them "Are you here by yourself?"
Me "Yeah, my family is back home in Arizona, Have you ever been separated from your family before?"
Them "XXXXX"
Me "(I relate to there experience, but...) I am away from my family because I love them! I have been blessed so much by them. I am thankful that my parents raised me up in such a fun, safe, and loving environment through the teaching of Christ! In our church we believe that through Christ our family can not only be eternal, but that the home can really be heaven on Earth! I know that it is true for myself!!! And, so, anyways, that is why I am far from them for now. Because I have been blessed so much by Christ and His restored church, I am here to share with others those same blessings."
It always brings the Spirit when my companion or I talk about families!

Preach My Gospel teaches about Eternal Marriage- "Heaven is a continuation of the ideal home. Through priesthood ordinances and righteous living, we can live as families in God’s presence eternally."
I know this is true!~

This last week I had the Lord put me back on the path in ways of studying Korean!~ I had been studying good things to help me improve, but not for all the right reasons. I had caught myself drifting toward just learning Korean, so that I know the language.

Recently I have been studying Korean to become a better proclaimer of truth, to better be able to convey the precious message of the restoration of Christ's gospel!!
I can feel God blessing me more and more as I learn to give up myself for the sake of others!! I better understand the doctrine stated in  Matthew 16:25

"25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."

Our Savior gave His all to each and everyone of us! And, when I get back to His kingdom some day, which I hope I can, I want to be able to look Him straight in the eye and say "I really gave my ALL to others, just like you did for me."
This life is all about service! It really is!

I have been reading in Mosiah. And, King Benjamin understood this principle.

"14 And even I, myself, have labored with mine own hands that I might serve you, and that ye should not be laden with taxes, and that there should nothing come upon you which was grievous to be borne—and of all these things which I have spoken, ye yourselves are witnesses this day.

15 Yet, my brethren, I have not done these things that I might boast, neither do I tell these things that thereby I might accuse you; but I tell you these things that ye may know that I can answer a clear conscience before God this day.

16 Behold, I say unto you that because I said unto you that I had spent my days in your service, I do not desire to boast, for I have only been in the service of God.

17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."
He truly Ministered to his people as Christ did! And, I want to do the same!

Love you all!!!

Jesus said suffer the Children to come unto me... Nice going Elder Faatae!

For church we had people from 5 different countries! The class was really loud because everyone was translating! But, it was really cool! The main thing everyone learned was that we all can not understand each other, but the Spirit is the universal language of our souls. The Spirit was strong!
