Week 43

This last week was great!! We met lots of new people and got 2 new investigators!!
We had the special chance to be able to give a blessing to the baby of our recent convert here in Dongdaemun. I could really feel the power of God! She was healed instantly, and I know that it is because of the faith of her mother! I have come to realize the importance of making sure that you are always prepared. I love their family and I will always be their friend!!!

I love the missionary technology we have!!!! It is so beneficial to the work!! We are able to fit into the schedules of all the busy, busy Koreans. And, we are able to keep contact with so many more people. I mean, after all, that is how I found the investigator that just learned about revelation from the Spirit.

But, because we are now able to do missionary contacting every single moment of the day, I find myself continuing the missionary work even after 9pm. I can't help it!!! Everyone needs to hear the gospel!  It is not a bad thing, because I have been able to reach out to more people that way. But, because of that, I have not been able to really settle down for the night. Before the smartphone I was able to dream, ponder, and write in my journal. Time for a little revelation on what is the best method!

Sometimes as people we have good things that we are doing throughout the day, but it doesn't always mean that it is the most effective or want God has planned for us! Sometimes we catch the BUSY disease!!! The symptoms, always filling every second full of tasks, always being active, but not able to accomplish all that you wanted. Being BUSY is not the answer to success. I know that for sure!!

I imagine it is like a person who says, "I want to get to the other side of the parking lot!" And, so they start moving, and keep themselves busy, but they are really just walking in a tiny circle over and over.

I am not saying that what I am doing is going in circles, but I would rather not take my own assumption (with my worldly view) on what is most effective. I have an all knowing Father in Heaven that can see everything and wants what is best for me. I would rather be blind, and be guided by His word! (Not being able to tell at the moment if I am having success but relying on God) I need to check in with the guy up stairs!
I want to be like Nephi!

Nephi 9:5 Wherefore, the Lord hath commanded me to make these plates (my works/ maybe writing in my journal ;) ) for a wise purpose in him, which purpose I know not.

Love you all!!!

A few videos from our hike. It was gorgeous!!! Enjoy the view!!
