Week 34

This last week was full great new experiences!!!
I changed companions from Elder Lee to Elder Mckinnon! They are completely different. It is great!

Right before Elder Lee left, we were able to visit his recent convert. Their family is amazing and I am glad that we got to have a good last meeting with him for their family.

But, what was the most exciting was when we had done transfers. Almost all of my district left expect for me and a greeny who has only been here in Korea for about a month now! It is as if  we were starting the whole Dongdaemun Area completely fresh. And, because out of everyone now in the area, I am the most experienced with the area I had to step up my game and show everyone the ins and outs of our area. I wish I knew more about the area so that I could have helped them out more, but it seems like it has all worked out.

But, other than that minor detail, Elder Mckinnon and I went all out this last week!! Right as soon as we got back from transfers he was giving it his all, and the Spirit was stronger than I had felt  it in a while. There is so much power when you are unified, not only with each other, but unified in committing to the Lord's way! Really! I have seen it!  I have seen more miracles this last week than I could count!! We definitely are loving it and have big goals for our area.  Where there are big goals, big struggles and efforts always are bound to follow. It is just a part of the the cycle of Victories!! If we do everything His way there is nothing that can hold us back. He wants to bless His children!

There have been numberless people this last week that have been put  in our path by the Lord. A large part of them had seen missionaries before or were familiar with our church! Out of the gazillion people that live in our area we were able to met THEM!

Since our start together this last Wednesday, we already have a pool of fantastic people that we met on the street, and I can't wait to see what happens as we stay consistent and keep improving. It is always the little consistent things over time that make the difference. The compound effect.

I am always trying to become the best I can and I am glad that I have a partner to grow with. We are really pushing to become missionaries that can pick out the specific needs of people everywhere we go and testifying to them the promised blessings that they WILL have if they act.

Sometimes in the work you can't see the results of your work, but I can see it!!  I have learned priceless lessons with my new companion and we are here to serve the people!!

Love from Elder Alger!

Food is yummy!~

There are more than 5 universities in my area and they are huge! It is great to find people looking for help.

Parks are beautiful here!

Always random pieces of art hanging around here in Korea. Gotta love it!

If you don't already know, I LOVE babies, especially if they are FAT! I can't hold them, mission rules, so taking pictures of them will have to do.HAHA

Really blurry, kind of like transfer day normally is. Just a blur! Everyone leaving me to go where the Lord needs them.

Korea has great street food. My new Comp munching away at a waffle

A fun tunnel we walk through everyday

I love the Asian style of of the architecture, not just the wall. haha

Kind of like Mexican food is way better in Arizona than it is in Korea,  Chinese food is Bomb here!!

18 Because there are Universities everywhere we can use there fields in mornings for exercise! Not only can you get fresh air you can meet fun new people

Family Home Evening with a family having a Member, Recent Convert, Investigator, and... Cute baby.

New Companion, Elder Benj McKinnon!

The food is good but it can be messy so you've got to wear your winter coat backwards for protection.

Last pic with my previous companion, Elder Lee.

Tunnels everywhere in Korea, because there are so many tracks, sometimes you have little villages squeezed into the "armpit of the tracks" as my new comp says.

There is one thing that I love almost as much as babies... Grandmas in Korea!! They are the cutest!!

Waiting for video call for a investigator
