We made a lot banana bread too! Because Elder Newton is leaving we are trying to fit in as much as we can! This last Sunday we did an arrangement of Love at Home as a duet on the clarinet and piano! It was great to bring the Spirit! I have learned so much from Elder Newton! He is just a happy and affirmative elder! I will miss him, but I will always have what I have learned from him to help me become a better minister.
This is the end of the transfer. All of the missionaries that I grew up with in the mission are all heading home.... Ah! The mission this next transfer is going to be very small. I think after this transfer my group and I will be considered the old missionaries.
Although everyone is leaving, I have always loved new transfers because it is a time where we can all start fresh, review what we learned and set a new vision for the future! I am excited to rely more on my Savior this next transfer!
Love,
Elder Alger
Here I am speaking in Korean with my companions. It's not my favorite thing to hear my own voice, but I figured that you would like to hear what I sound like in Korean.
We made these videos so that we can send a small intro of the B of M to investigators and people with potential interest. https://youtu.be/TJg9mF0SKoA

Here in Korea, they are very official and public about which churches are widely considered a cult. Our church is on the cult list. And, because of that we weren't allowed to have the bible in the gospel library app, but this last weekend the church somehow worked things out so that they can have the Bible in the app! Hooray!!!

Grapes in Korea taste completely different than American grapes. They actually taste like what we call "grape flavored..." They are so good!!!!!!!!
Cicadas in Korea look different than Arizona!
The Water Festival was right outside the church at the plaza. So every time we go back and forth we see something different. This time it was a fish in tanks!
